Our Story

Ever since we met in 2011, our story has been united by our love for travel and adventure. We want to share our love with you: Kota Kinabalu, a stunning place where many people have never ventured to, is a symbolic representation of the things that brought us closer together.

A Journey Through Our Stories

We've been very blessed to have been given the opportunity to travel together to some of the most spectacular spots in the world, from extremely isolated regions that no one's ever heard of, to jam-packed, crowded tourist destinations.

We've walked hand-in-hand in our wanderings throughout this world. Every step of the way.

Let us tell you our story through some of our favorite journeys.

El Nido

The alluring sceneries and mesmerizing underwater realm of the remote paradise of El Nido was what inspired us to take up our favorite activity, scuba diving. This was where we first celebrated a birthday together (it was the bride's birthday).

In a place so secluded and isolated from the rest of the world, we learned that we'd never be alone when we're together.

Japan

Those of you who know us well know that one other thing we have in common is our love of food. Our journey to experience Japan's endearing culture and stunning sights was well-punctuated by eating in restaurants that caught our eye and tingled our taste buds.

Japan not only nourished us with delicious dishes, but also nourished our love for each other even more.

Cebu

The region's enthralling waters, scrumptious food, and kind-natured people is what drew us to the beautiful city of Cebu.

This was our first trip flying on an airplane together, so you could say Cebu soared our relationship to higher altitudes.

Hong Kong

We're both entrepreneurs, and our first Hong Kong trip was mostly a business trip. In our spare time, we ventured into the region's top tourist destinations ate a lot of excellent food.

Though we each have our own companies to operate and manage, we have a joint venture agreement and partnership when it comes to the business of love.

Malapascua Island, Cebu

The remote island of Malapascua in Cebu is a top diving destination. We'd wake up 4:30 early in the morning for a chance to get a rare glimpse of the island's thresher sharks. Also, in this small island, we were happily surprised to discover one of the world's best pizza places.

Diving has brought us to great depths below the sea, and has played a part in deepening the depths of our devotion to each other.

Baguio

Situated on the Philippines' central mountain ranges, Baguio was the place we chose to celebrate our first New Year together as a couple. Nothing tests the patience within a relationship more than the long journey from Manila to the summer capital of the Philippines.

In a place so bone-chillingly cold in the December months, our love was all the warmth we needed.

Bali, Indonesia

Beautiful waters, amazing accomodations, and a down-to-earth atmosphere: There aren't many places in this world that suits us as perfectly as Bali.

Anilao, Batangas

Anilao, the Philippines' diving mecca, and a short drive from Manila, is our go-to destination when we need a respite from the bustling city.

It's also the place where we met many of you for the first time.

Balicasag Island, Bohol

Balicasag epitomizes the term "Island Life". No TVs, and electricity only when you're lucky. A back-to-basics lifestyle.

What we may have lacked in modern amenities on this trip, we more than made up for with the vast amount of joy and happiness we always bring to each other.

The Maldives

Our love for the underwater world took us on a journey all the way to the Maldives, where we spent seven days in a diving boat in the middle of one of the biggest oceans in the world: The Indian Ocean.

However, the expansiveness of this boundless body of water pales in comparison to the vastness of our fondness for each other.

Singapore

One of our most memorable journeys is our trip to the elegant and sophisticated city-state of Singapore. You might assume that our first activity would be a train ride to Universal Studios. Or maybe to go window-shopping at Orchard Road. Nope. Instead, the first thing we did after parking our bags in our hotel room was a trip to a hawker stand for some tasty Hainanese chicken rice we've been dreaming about for weeks.

Boracay

For water-lovers like us, the powdery, white sands of Boracay tops our list of favorite destinations to go to whenever we feel we have a Vitamin Sea deficiency.

The island's waters are captivatingly crystal-clear, just like our affection for each other.

Coron, Palawan

We went to Coron to celebrate our second anniversary. It was a well-deserved vacation from our work-life; with slow Internet connections in this remote location in the archipelago and an agreement to leave our laptops at home, we made a commitment to enjoy nothing else but each other's company.

Coron holds a special place in our story, our journey. It's where we got engaged.

Metro Manila

Metro Manila is our birthplace, our home, and where we met.

The city is continuously growing, always changing, and constantly offering explorers endless opportunities for adventure.

No matter how long you've lived in Metro Manila, how intimately familiar you are with your hometown, there's always something new right around the corner.

In this city, you'll frequently stumble upon undiscovered areas, or a re-imagining of a familiar area, providing you with even more happiness, more contentment, more inspiration, and a much greater sense of belonging.

Wherever we might wander to next in this world of ours, we know that home will forever be where our hearts are. We know there's no other place in this world that's better than home.

Out of all the places we've told you about, this one, perhaps, is the one that tells our story best.
